Programmers, artists, musicians, designers, dancers & performers, what
are you doing the first week of june?
Lighthouse is looking for 12 people to take part in a unique workshop
event in Brighton. The event is free to all participants and
accommodation will be provided.
The event is funded by the Arts Council of England and has been set up
to explore the creative relationship between digital art practice and
computer programming. It will provide a 'Hot-House' environment in which
participants will collaborate to develop new project ideas which
Lighthouse as producers, will put forward for funding to ACE and A4E.
The event will be facilitated through specially commissioned workshops
by international leaders in the field. Participants will discuss current
trends in cultural theory and look closely at the new tools and working
methods being used to create some of the most innovative contemporary
work.
