This full time position provides support to the Museum Webmaster and Communications & Marketing Department team by producing and developing web based projects for a variety of Museum programs.

The position is responsible for day-to-day maintenance of cooperhewitt.org as well as other Museum sites, ensuring timely posting of content; updating current websites with new features and content, and creating new websites from provided creative and direction.

The position requires strong communication skills; understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Photoshop and Flash. Experience with ASP, PHP, or other server side technologies are desirable. Interest in current web trends and standards and thoughtfulness towards usability and accessibility issues are a plus.
