In preparation for the:
WAR–ARTISTS BULLETIN BOARD
April 27 - May 8, 1999
at Postmasters Gallery NYC.
We are building a video-conference layer of the artists bulletin board,
to connect people interested in contributing content in a real time
CUseeme chat environment.
"..to be an open forum for artists to state their position, express
opinions, feelings on the war in the Balkans."
We will use CUseeme software (shareware version) to connect in realtime
to other artists, and/or information distribution nodes. We seek
information about other related actions, and/or the possibility of
coordinating simultaneous actions. A computer rig at the site will
transmit the projected image of the video-conference to a wall of the
gallery.
The first conference session will take place on April 27 at 8pm NYC
time, Sessions will be announced on
http://www.thing.net/~war - war website, or
http://www.location1.org/one/warroom
as developments occur.
"..the focus of your response is not predetermined, but should be
considerate of other participants"
To participate please get the software in advance
and troubleshoot your tech configurations:
Please do not use White Pine software,
(its incompatable).
