Call for Submissions
InterAccess Emerging Artist Award
$5000.00

InterAccess Electronic Media Arts Centre is offering an award of
$5000.00 to assist in the production of new artwork by an emerging
artist working in the field of electronic media. An emerging artist is
defined as an artist of any age who is relatively new to this field.

Adjudication will be based on a sample of work and a brief proposal for
how the funds will be used, evaluated by a peer-assessment committee.

To apply, please submit:
- 10 slides or 10 minutes of videotape, audiotape; or a CDROM or WEB
address of previous work you have done, or of the project you wish to
propose for funding.
- c.v. or resume
- one page description of your work.
- a brief proposal for how the funds will be used, including estimated
budget and timeline for project completion. Maximum 500 words, not
including budget.

Applicants must reside in the Greater Toronto Area.
Deadline for submissions May 1, 1999.
Please note the winning applicant must also be available for the
presentation of the award at a ceremony to be held late May/early June.
