as of september, first ::: the butterfly has matured again.
the remedi project was created from a belief that by suspending judgement
about the Web, and by abandoning our preconceptions about how to use it to
communicate, we might find a better way to express our discordant voices to
each other. in keeping with those ideals, i am proud to introduce three new
titles to the remedi project.
the following artists, projects can be found on the remedi site, within the
"15. further maturation" area.
15.1
future farmers, the journey
programmer krister olsson
design amy franceschini, stella lai
music air king
15.2
shannon rankin, FLESH
15.3
bullseye art, the woodcutter
concept josh kimberg
woodcutter character design keith rondinelli
project design and art direction josh kimberg, nick cogan, keith
rondinelli, ryan edwards
the works will launch as part of the "further maturation" exhibition within
remedi, and will be up for a limited time as this area continues to mature.
other wise :::
as always, the permanent exhibition is still available. please spend some
time with the artists and projects that started it all.
due to popular demand (ok, maybe because kirk and i busted hump on
rendering the things and no one ever saw 'em..) the full metamorphosis of
the caterpillar has finally been made available within the site. their
specific location has been hidden (only because i like making you people
work for the secrets), but i'll give you a hint. if it were not for the
support and work of everyone dedicated to the project, then the caterpillar
would have never become a butterfly.
you'll find it all at <http://www.theremediproject.com>
as always,
josh.
