:::recode::: is an Australian based email mailing list for critical
commentary and debate on contemporary new media, online and digital
culture. It was initiated during the Code Red national event in November
1997. It is a site for discussion and debate as well as providing an
outlet for publishing material on line. It's aim is to encourage
dialogue amongst practitioners and critics from the Australian and Asia
Pacific region. However subscription and commentary outside of this
region is also welcome.
