Well, it's slow here at slanderous. No new libel, no
new lies.
But we would like to thank Maryland Art Place for
making the past few months a record.

From a friend of slanderous we have this great story:
"Today I was bored so I decided to go a wandering'.
I headed up 27, took Rutherford across, and then Healy
Rd, and finally ended
up on Innis Lake Road. I said " I'm goin' hiking at
the top of Innis Lake. Got
there, parked my car, and as I was getting out a fast
car sped up and
pulled in to that farm (the one at the beginning of
the trail), but stopped at the gate.
Humm I thought. I waited around a bit but the woman in
the car didn't get out. I thought, "eh, the
heck with it, I'm going hiking". I went down the
trail, and it was
beautiful today, no mosquito's, just pure nature. My
camera was whirring
when I reached the apple orchard.
I looked at my cell phone and saw that it was 3:47.
Time to head back.
Of course, thats a longer haul back than it is *too*
and I took my time.
Wandering off the trail and looking at the birds and
deer.
As I approached the hill, just before the farmers
crossroads I saw a large
white female climbing a tree. I have no idea what she
was up to. I stopped
and waved, but no response, she kept on climbing (and
she was at least a
56 waist, and 5'10" if she was an inch) and she was
15-20 feet in the
AIR!!!.
Well thats pretty cool I thought, and then a second
lone hiker walked past
( young guy in his 30's), and did the same double take
I did.
We both looked at each other, shook our heads and went
on our way.
Now it was 5:35 and I had to head back
When I got back to the car the person in question (the
climber) had pulled around behind
me. Our license plates matched except for the last
number"
