The Creative Capital | Andy Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant Program (www.creative-capital.org) seeks team-oriented person to oversee administration, maintenance, and improvement of technological services both in-house and online, including management of program website and web-based grant application process. Responsibilities include: act as technical contact with the web-server hosts and allied companies; enhancement and satisfaction of the program's organizational needs by means of technology to improve general efficiency; maintain, improve, and correct web-based application form in conjunction with database for the different phases of the grant application process; provide technical support to grant applicants; actualize diagnostics, upgrade and trouble shoot tech issues related to office computers, software, network, and web site; establish and maintain email accounts; work with Creative Capital's PHP/MySQL consultant to ensure that any technical issues or problems are addressed quickly; and work on special projects as required. Position requirements are: a minimum of two years experience working in a Mac based environment and database driven websites, a minimum of two years experience with the following tools: HTML CSS, Microsoft Office X, Filemaker Pro, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Flash, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, inDesign, and Mac OS X. The ideal candidate should be able to clearly and concisely assist staff with implementation of new software and other related technologies and be responsive and sensitive to the needs of non-tech-savvy grant applicants. He/she should also be capable of creative problem solving and of balancing tasks under a series of deadlines. An interest in contemporary visual arts is preferred. This is a part time position (8 to 10 hours per week on average; more during peak grant cycle periods); $33 per hour; beginning immediately.
