Fallt 2.0

Fallt 2.0

A new year; a new start. New staff; new direction. After a two year hiatus we're pleased to report that Fallt Publishing - a critically acclaimed webiste dedicated to experimental audio and visual releases - has been entirely rebuilt and relaunched.

We're extremely grateful to the hard work of recently joined in house developer Nicholas Kove who has assisted hugely in transferring all of Fallt's content from a static website to a database driven version.

We're also grateful for the hard work of new Fallt curator Christian Lange who has systematically catalogued all archived works and updated all audio and visual files to high quality versions.

We've introduced new sidebar navigation featuring an icon driven interface with edits by Fallt designers Fehler for easy access to project components. We're also using web standards to speed download times when accessing content.

Thanks to the ongoing work of Christian Lange, numerous projects which had previously only been released in limited quantities or for limited periods - The Gizmo Variations (Stephan Mathieu, People Like Us, Klunk…); Christmas in The Empire (Alejandra and Aeron); and 'Vs.' (Taylor Deupree, Richard Chartier and Fehler) - have been uploaded for the first time.

Finally, we're pleased to announce that, where we have original masters, we have converted all audio throughout the site to 320 KBPs MP3s. With the increasing move towards a broadband culture we feel that this is the best way to make high quality audio available to as wide an audience as possible.

We're pleased with the new website, we hope you will be to. We welcome your comments and thoughts.
