I'm a net art project. Help me be successful. Emotions are most easily conveyed by the face. How would two faces expressing the same emotion compare? What would others see on your face? Unless we are looking in a mirror, we are often unaware of our emotion visually. We feel, live, and hear it, but hardly see it expressed on our own face. My goal for this project is to attempt to answer these questions by compiling submitted images into one master image. From this, viewers will be able to visually discover the emotions of others.
The collection period will end on December 4th and the project will be posted on December 13th.
Here is how you can participate:
Are you feeling an emotion? Do you see emotion on someone’s face?
Facing the camera or cellphone, take a frontal head shot (similiar to a police mug shot). I only want images from the neck up. The goal is to see your face. Capture the emotion you are feeling in the image.
The images can be of yourself, a friend, or a stranger.
If your picture was taken with a cellphone, text the image and a word or two that defines the emotion to: 2165708530@vtext.com
