STATION ROSE newsletter:
dear Gunafa Netizen, greetings, listen to that!
here comes the new Fahrplan:
(re-) announcement of Digital Bohemian, a term created by Station Rose in 1=
995.
______________________________________________________________________
In times of Google, the omnipresent transparency
this company had created on kulturgut is a fact,
right?
so lets move to that:
what happened recently, is interesting enough to scan it,
cause it is quite unbelieveable:
recently a book came out in germany, called
"Wir nennen es Arbeit. Die digitale Boheme oder
Intelligentes Leben jenseits der Festanstellung"
(Heyne, 2006) by S. Lobo und H. Friebe.
the authors call their lifestyle digital bohemian ("digitale Boheme").
which so far soundz comprehensible, fitting to the zeitgeist.
the only problem is that they only googled in
german during their research if someone else had
used that term before.
SO
the facts are:
<digital bohemian> had been created by station
rose back in 1995. it has been our slogan, our
bumper sticker until today, cause it perfectly
describes our lifestyle
- bohemian, with access to and use of digital technology.

_______________
Zeit vom 2.11.06, S. 28f.
