open call to artists


Artists of all kinds are invited to take part in Liverool's liberarti which will take place in and around Liverpool. The festival runs from the 11th Oct - 1st Dec 2002.
submissions are being accepted now.


liberarti is an open exhibition: any project which is non monetary in nature and takes place in public space in and around the Liverpool area will be accepted. net based art greatly welcomed.

liberarti follows on from the success of FREEMANIFESTA and other Free Festival events. liberarti is an extension of NY Artist Sal Randolph's ideas:

"It is intended as an experiment in creating a social network of artists, a gift economy that can act as an alternative to traditional forms of exhibition in commercial and institutional contexts".
