SAMUEL L JACKSON'S SNAKES ON A PLANE
> Remixed broadcast television trailers
MTV and other US networks
Seems that no one can escape the internet phenomenon that is the forthcomin=
g Samuel L. Jackson action movie Snakes on a Plane. Already a film with a =
large, albeit strange, cult following even before release, Addictive TV wer=
e asked to create remixed trailers for US television in their trademark aud=
iovisual sampling and cut-up style. With rushes of the film a closely guar=
ded secret, and web masters all over the planet itching for leaks, the Addi=
ctive TV guys were locked up in their studio to create the two 30 second sp=
ots for network use.
Starts on US television from next week and they'll also be online soon. Be=
prepared for a scratched Sam Jackson stuttering his way into a drum 'n' ba=
ss track made up of rhythmic gun shots and an axe-wielding stewardess behea=
ding seriously psychotic serpents!
WARREN SUICIDE [ NOW ONLINE ]

Addictive TV recently created an AV dance remix for German electro-punk ban=
d Warren Suicide, remixing their single "My Name Is Warren Suicide". The m=
ix features the band's sadly now missing lead singer Lucki. The band just =
released their second album to rave reviews.

>New Pioneer DVJ-1000 DVD turntable gets released
Addictive TV have just created an "Addictive TV visual samples bank" for Ro=
land's top-selling Japanese VJ software Motion Dive. The patch of 24 video=
loops will be included with the latest version of the software that gets r=
eleased soon.
The last six months has also seen the guys testing the very sexy new Pionee=
r DVJ-1000 DVD turntable prior to it's release last week. This second gen =
DVJ is much smaller and lighter than it's ground-breaking predecessor the D=
VJ-X1, whilst retaining all the functionality but adding some groovy new fe=
atures…

Plenty of AV club sets coming up, plus performances of their live cinema pr=
oject "The Eye of the Pilot" in Boston at Siggraph - the digital arts indus=
try's biggest and most respected technical and creative event, plus in Mosc=
ow too at Russia's Innovation Design Awards.
