"Paralyzed Mind of the Archangel Void" was performed live at the
Rhinecliff Hotel by the group Harmony Rockets. It was recorded on a
hand-held Arrivox-Tandberg 183 analog cassette recorder. Due in part
to the out-dated nature (ancient by today's standards) of this
machine and an inadequate P.A. system (some amp-clipping and thermal
compression occur) periodic portions of the music undulate and appear
to distort. Various electronic geniuses were employed to help
minimalize these distractions during the mastering process, however,
even in collaborative efforts with computers (electronic brains) some
solutions were refuted on the basis of their own negative distracting
effects upon the music. Thus, the sounds on this disc are unaltered,
and remain true to the nature of the original performance.

[Registrar's Note: Although this is not a new exhibit (it is, is in
fact, from our permanent collection), the fortuitous discovery of the
preceding passage seemed sufficient cause and occasion to warrant the
reintroduce this collection into the current stream, provided its
insertion be accompanied by the caveat which you will have just
read… now.]
