Interesting approach to teaching social controversies and/as basic legal
concepts… could use a little less didacticism/sitting around
talking, and a little more explosions, kung-fu, spaceships, risque,
small furry creatures, expletives whoosh bam flash whee ratatata slam
crunch boom but hey, it's a start, by copyright lawyers no less ;) To
its credit, though, this short(-ish) book does feature a few clever
flourishes of the form: graphical representations of "cultural
ecology," funny collages of non/copyrighted images, etc….

Took an enlightening course in comic narrative techniques there
once… did all kinds of bizarre things, like read Scott McCloud through
Jacques Lacan..

Duke seems to be the only university that, albeit in a bumbling
Ivory Tower way, half-seriously considers the power of comics: more
power to em…
