There's continuity editing, montage,… What would you suggest as a specific term for film editing in new media? When the consumer is the final editor and actual editor's job is to determine beforehand in what ways the consumer can access to the material.

I've come up with something like "pre-programmed editing"/"programmed editing". I thought you were the right people to suggest better ones. I'd use it in my research.
