To who it may concern in the Art world
In the last decade we have seen an outburst of art reproductions via
different techniques, I call to museums, galleries, visual artist, curators,
collectors and restorers to take notice and action in supporting a new art
word for limited edition art reproductions.
"Digigraphy"
The word Lithography as we all know comes from the Greek words Lithos=stone
and Graphy=to write. As a logical consequence of this I will support the
word "Digigraphy" , where digi is short for Digi=digital.
Digital reproduction technique using the best art papers (also see
<http://www.paper.gr/> www.paper.gr) and ink material to reproduce limited
art prints under 99 copies should have one of the two below mentioned
mediums in bold, clearly marked on the certificate of Authenticity [also see
attached file as sample]
Medium:
*Digigraphy - (UV Pigment ink print ) long lasting 85+ years
*Digigraphy - (Dye ink print) short life 10+ years
