d/y ethereal radio broadcast #42: Heaven Out Of Hand

Man begins by saying "of course," before any of his senses have a
chance to come to his aid with wonder and surprise. The result is
that he dies, and his neighbors and friends mumur with the wind, "of
course! " The love of bird or shell which might have restored his
life flies away, carried by the same wind which has destroyed him.

To live content with small means. To seek elegance rather than
luxury, and refinement rather than fashion. To be worthy not
respectable, and wealthy not rich. To listen to stars and birds and
babes and sages with an open heart. To study hard, think quietly, act
frankly, talk gently, await occasions. Never hurry.

In a word, to let the spiritual, the unbidden and the unconscious
rise up through the common. This is my symphony.

- william henry channing

I would like my life to leave after it no other murmur than that of
a watchman's song, of a song to while away the waiting. Independent
of what happens and what does not happen, the wait itself is
magnificent.

- andre breton

Where is it that we were together? Who were you that I lived with,
walked with? The brother, the friend. Darkness and light, strife and
love. Are they the workings of one mind? The features of the same
face? Oh my soul, let me be in you now. Look out through my eyes.
Look out at the things you made. All things shining.
