Officially, the goal of this blog is to satirize the news media by commenting on daily headlines, and point out the way that important news (the Paula Abdul scandal) is often found side-by-side with not-so-important news (prisoner abuse at Guantanamo Bay).  

Unofficially, it's place where you might occasionally catch Josh riffing on Jewish cats or the wonders of wind power.
