Folly Launch Party 24th January 2003

Come and join us to celebrate the expansion of our organisation. As of January, Folly will be taking over the whole building and moving some of our activity downstairs; as well as expanding our programing capabilities, this will allow us to offer more evening events, training and education opportunities, darkroom and Internet access and much more!

The launch party will take place on Friday 24th January to coincide with the next exhibition opening from 7pm onwards.

Folly is extremely pleased to welcome visiting Canadian artists (Tim Lee and Robert Kozinuk) and curator (Glenn Alteen - grunt gallery) of Vancouver Video to the preview night of their exhibition. This is the UK premiere of this refreshing and innovative new work.

Lancaster based artist Hester Reeve will give one of her rare cabaret-style performance happenings. Reeve and grunt gallery go back a long way - the artist lived and made live art works at the gallery as part of her year long Canadian tour Instigations on the Lay By (1989).
