Hi, I'm interested to know media-artwork related to traditional religious belief, called animism sometimes.
I worked in Africa for quite long period and would like to express the specifities of such religion by media-artproduction.
Is anyone knows already such attempt?

I haven't picked up a copy in a long while, but there's an exceptional book called "Art in Small Scale Societies" (author Anderson I think?) that deals pretty extensively with animist/tribal artwork in Africa, from an anthropological standpoint. Might be a good place to atleast find a decent bibliography. Best,
