Agora Phobia (digitalis)
Karen Lancel
September 10 - 14, 2003
12-6pm
540 W. 21st Street between 10th & 11th Avenues, NYC
What is a safe place for you?
How would you describe an 'unsafe place'?
When and where do you feel isolated?
How do you maintain control over your space?
Step inside the isolation pillar installed in front of Eyebeam to join in
an internet-dialogue with people living elsewhere in isolation: a
prisoner, a refugee, a hermit, an agoraphobic, a seminarian, a
wanderer…
September 13, 4pm
Please join us for an artist talk and reception.
