PATTERSON RESIDENCY PROGRAM - The Creative Alliance, a community-based arts=
organization in a diverse Baltimore neighborhood, launches an artists' Res=
idency Program in 2003 with the opening of its new facility in a historic f=
ormer movie theater. The facility includes a theater, two galleries, caf=
e, and media lab (including Final Cut Pro, production equipment, small fi=
lm library) along with 8 live-in artist studios. Resident Artists are enco=
uraged to develop a project to be presented by the Creative Alliance, and w=
ill benefit from regular studio visits from established artists and curator=
s. Open to artists in all media. Film/video makers encouraged to apply. =
Residencies extend 1-3 years. Studios range 950-1800sf (including loft), an=
d feature kitchen, bath, high ceilings and ample natural light. Rents aver=
age $650/month; separate utilities. Deadline to apply: March 28, '03. Art=
