As a current BFA candidate in the 3rd year of study at School of the Art Institute of Chicago, I am looking for an internship for the summer 2003 term. Specifically, I am seeking a group/individual that works with embedded microcontrollers, telecommunications, robotics, pneumatics and mechanical systems, cybernetics, as well as topics ranging from telepresence activitys and biometrics to electronic logic and product manufactoring. As some of you may be familiar with the internship process, payment is not necessarily expected, though welcome since the student is essentially paying for the internship course out of pocket (aka. loans). I am a dedicated art tech student, and unfortunately have found that locating artists working with these media to be a difficult task. Should a known opportunity arise, Please contact me.
