RE: RHIZOME_SUPERUSING: complimentary

hello

I must admit I can't see clearly through the issue to my own
satisfaction. the suggestion was intended to make things simpler /for
everyone.

The way cooperatives work seems to be a model: anyone can become a
member (whatever the criteria for this may be: interest, small fee,
living in a certain area, profession..), then there are paid managers &
staff, then volunteer managers and staff and then non-members who
utilize services off & on. the hierarchy is unavoidable. some orgs try
to tackle this head-on and devise elaborate procedures to level the
ground for everyone. its always elaborate /almost never simple.

In an age of fees, and self-reflection, we must ask ourselves the
question: what is a superuser? super-user, super peruser of [Raw],
super-v-iser of [Art+Text], eavesdropper of noise, steward of
information, body without organ, a rhizomic spirit with function ..

lets ask our experts in rhizomiconomics in rhizomicity rachel and feisal
about their views on selection and comlimentary behavior.

cheers

it does make some sense… but at the same time i'm
uneasy about the kind of hierarchy that's set up. i
mean, is anyone able to be a superuser if they want to
be? i'm not saying that a system of preferences is
bad, but determining "complimentary access" for
selected people seems strange. i don't know, maybe
it's not… most other non-profits i've worked
for/with had similar volunteer privileges, though
being a volunteer was not a very selective process.
?
best, ryan

I suggest superuers should get complimentary access
for contributing.
please second me.

thanks and best wishes.
long live the rhizome!
