I know that this letter may or not come to you as a
surprise since your organization is well advertised.
However I am writing based on the prevailing
information's I gathered about your company in the
line of my job. I for this reason have confidence
that
you can be can be able to execute this business to
our
mutual benefit and I believe that you will not let
down the trust and confidence I am willing to repose
in you.
I work with an Ivorian based public and
international
film A MIC I work as the corporate affair manager.
Between the 17th - 19th of August 2000 a business
seminar was held at BOUAKE - Cote d'Ivoire of which
I
attended. While in this seminar I was lucky to meet
with one ALHAJI AU BOSTRA, the president of MAC
DOWELS
ETS. ALHAJI BOSTRA is an accomplished and widely
known
millionaire farmer in this part of the region. He is
an accomplished agriculturist with speciality in
cattle farms and various other agricultural produce
for export. He has farms in different countries of
West Africa. But above all one of the greatest
suppliers of cattle, beef and other dairy products
in
this side of the coast. On getting to know my
profession, ALHAJI BOSTRA, took me into confidence
by
informing me about the huge amount of money he
spends
on the purchases of a particular, but very important
medicine for his cattle. He informed me that he buys
this products at UDS 5,000 per carton ; and mostly
be
buys to the excess of 200 cartons. He informed me
that
he was only asking me to find out if my organisation
could source for him cheaper supplier considering
the
recent trends of falls in the general price of beef
in
the world market which is affecting his business.
Back to my office. I discussed this business
proposal
with my Director, and he decided to handle the
supply,
by himself. We carried out a market research and
discovered that we could purchase these substance
somewhat cheaper in EUROPE for US$2,000.00 per
carton, we moved a proposal to MAC DOWELS to make a
supply to him at US$4,500.00 per carton of which he
accepted. Owing to my role in the whole arrangement
with my Director to be receiving 15% of whatever
again
made on each supply. But on the 3rd of November a
supply of 120 cartons was made to the MAC DOWELS
COMPANY. My Director decided to renegade on our
agreement. He refuse giving me anything near the
agreement we arrived at but only what he termed an
offer of Appreciation. When I protested he
threatened
me with a dismiss from my office. I decided to
overlook this betrayal but since then our
relationship
has seized to be cordial. He never said anything to
me
again about the MAC DOWELS as assumed that the
business relationship has stopped between them.
Recently, I intercepted some letters from
MAC DOWELS
to my Director. I was shocked to know that he made
three more supplies to MAC DOWELS which I knew
nothing
about and he did not bothered to inform me. More so
MAC DOWELS is now requesting for another supplies of
250 cartons of this substance following a suspected
out break of disease among his cattle in MALI. He
has
requested that this supply will be made before next
month. These letter have not got to my Director and
never will. Instead I called Alhaji AU Bostra and
convinced him that I can arranged for an
international
supplier who can supply him at the price of
US4000:00
per carton. But that that he Alhaji Bostra or his representative will
have to go to EUROPE and pay cash before lifting the goods. At this
moment, ALHAJI BOSTRA is presently waiting for me and my foreign
contacts as he stopped all further dealings with my Director. If you can
