Director, dLux media arts
dLux media arts is currently seeking a Director.
dLux media arts encourages and promotes the development and critical disc=
ussion of innovative film, video, new media and sound arts in Australia, an=
d exhibits this work to diverse audiences nationally and internationally.

Reporting to the Committee, the Directors role is to organize and manage =
an annual artistic program of activity for dLux. This includes defining and=
developing a creative vision for the organization's future, the identifica=
tion of innovative and exciting media arts based cultural products, project=
s and events for inclusion in the 2003 and 2004 artistic program, sourcing =
of funding and sponsorship for projects, administration and management of t=
he annual program and staff. The current 2003 program includes d>art, Futur=
eScreen and Tour dLux.
dLux media arts seeks a Director who will foster critical discussion, act=
ively promote and advocate for time-based artists and their work. Working w=
ith dLux's elected Management Committee, the Director has oversight of the =
financial, artistic and strategic development of the organization. High-lev=
el communication skills are required to ensure energetic relations with dLu=
x's funding bodies, sponsors and industry collaborators and liaison with me=
mbers, staff, guest curators and other artistic personnel.

The position is full time and is Sydney based.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record in arts manageme=
nt and experience working in small art organisations.
Salary $50,000 (inclusive of Superannuation)
February/ March commencement envisaged (negotiable upon availability)

dLux media arts is currently seeking a coordinator.

dLux media arts encourages and promotes the development and critical disc=
ussion of innovative film, video, new media and sound arts in Australia, an=
d exhibits this work to diverse audiences nationally and internationally.

dLux seeks a Coordinator with outstanding organisational skills committed=
to the delivery of its innovative screen arts programs. Answerable to the =
Director, the Coordinator will ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of d=
Lux programmes and office - a role which includes coordinating sub-committe=
es and volunteers, liaison with suppliers, and varied publicity, accounts, =
technical and hospitality tasks.
The position is full time and is Sydney based (job sharing considered).
Salary $40,000 (inclusive of Superannuation)
February/ March commencement envisaged (negotiable upon availability)
