Not 200 AD but about 100 AH (= 723 AD) or a little before

Dear Islamic extremist
I like your coat: ["I haven't read The Satanic Verses, but I know it is
blasphemous and that Salman Rushdie should die for it."]
Your level of understanding must be just below that of an illiterate
Taliban wanna be's. I am just going to prove it.[keep watching]
The answer to your question: [Why haven't you read it yet? How do you
know it should be interesting without having read it?] is:
Because I know the authors and I have read a lot written by them.
============================================
Although I am not an Islamic Extremist, I know of the authors also. They
are
very smart. It does not necessarily mean that they are right 100\% of the
time.
============================================
Btw, I wonder why you make such remarks.(what kind of dumb stereotypes
are trying to spin at me - the ones you copy-pasted ..).
============================================
Your entire posting was nothing but a cut&paste - and they contained
dumb
stereotypes.
============================================
Any way, I have also read nearly everything.by rushdie. Including his
essays
critical of
the UK's policies on immigrant British subjects. I stopped at Haroon &
the sea of stories (because basically he hasn't receovered as a writer
or thinker since the Iranian threat (some clerics there). Why hasn't he
recovered. In fact where is he today ? I did like his edited book of
writings on the 50 years of British India's partition. I am sure you
know. Have you read de Tocqueville or Locke. How abaiout Voltaire.
William burroughs, or faiz or naguib mahfooz, or ibn hazm, or William of
ochkam, or Galileo (heretic), or Thomas hardy, or Martin Luther
(protestant fame).or do you restrict yourself to a strict diet of
readers digest.
==========================================
What's readers digest?
==========================================
I think you
obviously you don't think very effectively.
==========================================
it is a [cyber]crime on your part.
==========================================
according to the home security of "S. Yasir Husain"?
==========================================
And by the way I think you probably
understood zilch of rushdie or any of the writers being interviewed. Was
there actually a point to your email ? or was it to tell me that you 've
heard of salman rushdie. Did you know he used to live in the very same
city I am living in. and probably worked within a couple of miles where
I am right now. What can you tell me about rushdie. Tell me. I cant tell
you that oblique and overt references in his sentences can only be
understood by people (any) familiar with south asian things like the
film Bombay film industry. Who is sri devi ? you should know! And what
is she doing in satanic verses. What does he think of the BJP government
in India ? oe te War ? And did you also know that the satanic verses
thing (the whole idea) is not new in any sense (if you thought so
thought is ..) of the phrase. Well to start with it was 'manufactured
piece of 'rumour' generated by propagandists of the time (about 200 AD)
who were trying to gain political advanatage by legitimizing the
goddesses Lat and Uzza through the so called satanic verse. That is,
when Gabriel was communicating the (a particular) verse (according to
the 'revised' version), Muhammad made a mistake and the verse with (Lat
and Uzza) was what Muhammad spoke, instead of without them , sayin g
that they could also intervene on your behalf to get you to the other
side. This was the satanic verse, in case such detail ever becomes
relevant). But even if the satanic verse was real, what is >your<
problem. If you believe in Uzza, or Manat or Golem, Dionysos or Kali,
don't be upset.
============================================
I assure you, I'm not.
============================================
Correct me.
============================================
Done.
