Bathsalts was a weekly "drag night for fuck ups," hosted by Macy Rodman, the first recipient of the crown for M(r)s. Williamsburg, and Severely Mame. Located in a dive bar which typically caters to rock shows, Bathsalts brought a queer clientele to the bar, in large part due to the weekly screenings of RuPaul's Drag Race, in advance of the performance floor shows and talk show "Salty Talk" which precede them. Local performers have included Colin Self, Alexis Blair Penney, Lucy Balls, Amber Alert, Horrorchata, Kimberly Clarke, Untitled Queen and Cher Noble. As a weekly showcase, Bathsalts closed its doors June 29, 2015.
