The Compound Gallery presents “Happy Accidents”, a solo show featuring John Casey’s recent foray into color. For years Casey has worked primarily with black, white, and grey (and occasionally reddish-orange-brown) in ink or pencil. Recently Casey experienced a color epiphany, with a new cast of characters in the form of paintings, drawings, and sculpture. Come out and see his expanding, technicolor, recessive-gene-pool family.

The closing will be held from 3 to 6pm and will feature snacks and refreshments, including Numi Tea. The artist talk will begin at 4pm.
