::vtol:: is a project of Moscow media-artist, musician and engineer of strange-sounding mechanisms – Dmitry Morozov.
He is a member of SoundArtist.ru and resident of Nikola-Lenivets.

The performance is a part of the current exhibit "The Emperor's New Aesthetic" curated by David Fodel and Matt Jenkins. The exhibit runs through Ocotber 23 and includes interactive technological objects, projection pieces, internet-based works, and 2D/3D objects from approx. a dozen artists, including international pioneers of Net.art, Glitch, and digitalism like Alexei Shulgin, Olia Lialina, Jon Cates, Phillip Stearns, Pox Party, Brian Kane, Sophia Brueckner, Jeremy Bailey, Nick Briz, ::vtol:: (Dmitry Morozov), and Denver artists Mia Woody, Matt Evans and Sarah Knutson.
