Multimedia artist Angie Waller will demonstrate systems for generating and storing found texts and provide code samples in Excel and Python that allow participants to generate chance outcomes with their own texts. Waller will also share her own artist books, made with search engine queries, public apologies and most recently a series of auto-generated romance novels that re-purpose Craigslist missed connections. No programming experience is necessary, but bring a laptop if you have one available.
