Márcio-André is an experimental artist, with works in the area of sound and visual poetry, installation and performance, music videos and video art. He has performed in the United Kingdom, France, Portugal, Ukraine, Hungary, Spain, Netherlands, Argentina, Peru, Canada and Brazil and is curator of Cidade aTravessa, performative and literary event that takes place in Lisbon, Rio de Janeiro and Sao Paulo. http://www.marcioandre.com
Ram Devineni is a filmmaker, publisher and founder of Rattapallax Films and magazine based in New York City, Sao Paulo and New Delhi. He produced, edited and directed the feature documentary The Human Tower, which was shot in India, Chile, and Spain. The film is being distributed by Goldcrest, which has won 19 Academy Awards. Devineni is one of the founding partners of Academia Internacional de Cinema, the first independent film school in Brazil.
Matthea Harvey is the author of Sad Little Breathing Machine and Pity the Bathtub Its Forced Embrace of the Human Form. Her third book of poems, Modern Life was a finalist for the National Book Critics Circle Award and a New York Times Notable Book. Matthea is a contributing editor to jubilat, Meatpaper and BOMB and teaches poetry at Sarah Lawrence.
Paul D. Miller’s (aka DJ SPOOKY That Subliminal Kid) work as a media artist has appeared in a wide variety of contexts such as the Whitney Biennial; The Venice Biennial for Architecture; The Andy Warhol Museum in Pittsburgh and many other museums and galleries. His book Sound Unbound, an anthology of writings on electronic music and digital media is a bestselling title for MIT Press. Miller is currently a contributing editor to C-Theory and the Arts Editor of Origin Magazine, which focuses on the intersection of art, yoga and new ideas. http://djspooky.com
Rick Moody‘s first novel, Garden State, was the winner of the 1991 Editor’s Choice Award from the Pushcart Press and was published in 1992. His book The Ice Storm was published in May 1994 with a film version, directed by Ang Lee, released in 1997 and won best screenplay at the Cannes Film Festival. His short fiction and journalism have been anthologized in Best American Stories 2001, Best American Essays 2004, Best American Essays 2008, Year’s Best Science Fiction #9, Year’s Best Fantasy, and in the Pushcart Prize anthology. http://www.rickmoodybooks.com/
Rene Veron is a native of Valparaiso, Chile. Rene holds a Bachelor's in Music from the Universidad Catolica de Valparaiso and a Masters in Music from Duquesne University. He has worked on hundreds of projects composing and producing music for advertising, commercials, films, and animation for such companies as Verizon, Bloomingdale’s, Penn Ave Arts Initiative, Nature Heritage, and TVN’s “Chile con mis ojos” among others.
