Sound Off is an intimate performance series of sound art and experimental music that connects audiences with composers, musicians, artists, and one another. It takes place in a simple loft: no stage, no curtain, and little distance between performer and audience.

Joe Grimm is an interdisciplinary artist working primarily with light and sound. In his performances, sculptures, videos, and constructed situations, he appropriates material from enlightenment-era metaphysics, contemporary pop music, and the troubled legacy of minimalism – insisting always on the centrality of sheer sensory pleasure.
