Explore the decorative art of exposed sewn bookbinding structures. From the simple to the complex, we will begin with the Pamphlet Stitch and then dive into Japanese 4-Hole, Long Stitch, and Buttonhole softcover bindings. We will discuss tools, materials, terminology, and basic bookbinding skills. You will leave with multiple hand-sewn books, detailed instructions, and the skills to create more on your own. All skill levels welcome!
