Singapore Portraits is a contemplation of identity and belonging in a climate of change regarding foreign-local relations, told in three chapters – a video documentary, a play and an interactive art installation.

This multi-discipline project comes from data and interviews with hundreds of Singaporeans from 5 different heartlands, involving native-born and new citizen alike, as well as surveys of the evolving physical landscape of the country.
