Satellite Magazine, a new biannual print publication about cities, culture, and politics, is hosting a launch party for its second issue in Brooklyn on July 19.

The issue features work by Germany artist Jorg Herold and Atlanta physics professor/painter Fereydoon Family, along with an exploration of the effects of gentrification on Montreal's art community. Other content: interviews with Noam Chomsky and Canadian Centre of Architecture founder Phyllis Lambert; the story of a penniless African immigrant's first week in New York; and more.
