Re-projecting captured footage of the social interactions within the Metropolitan onto its current patrons, the new evening long commission We All Gag! utilizes the social practice of nightlife to reflect on the role of cinema in the formation of identity, social behavior, and narratives in 21st century queer community.

Gag! is the bi-monthly party created by Cameron Cooper and Zach Cole. The longest running queer party in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, Gag! focuses on forming social spaces and parties that continue the legacy of underground queer culture. In addition to collaborations with Ladyfag, Michael Magnan, and others Gag! was an inaugural recipient of THE FUN fellowship in social practice of nightlife by the Museum of Arts and Design 2011.

Opening its doors in 2002, the Metropolitan became the first gay bar of Williamsburg, Brooklyn. As the population of Williamsburg and its surrounding neighborhoods increasingly became filled with young artists and other cultural producers, a former southern restaurant was transformed into an iconic queer venue for the growing Brooklyn queer community. Both infamous and contested, the Metropolitan has developed into a regular fixture of Brooklyn queer nightlife.
