"Five Elsewhere" ("Cinq Ailleurs") is the result of a double collaboratio=
n.
At the beginning the city of Les Mureaux and Nicolas Clauss, artist in resi=
dence at the Multimedia Culture Space of Les Mureaux, have come together to=
organize a workshop for a multimedia creation on themes such as elsewhere =
and memory.
Then five women and men, Senegalese , Moroccan, Peruvian, Algerian and Mali=
an by birth have contributed to the workshop. Daroga, Fatima, Karina, Moura=
d and Sinde invite you to discover traces of their rich universe, their "el=
sewhere".

This journey consists of interactive scenes which rebuild/reinvent their me=
mories from recorded interviews, and as well from personal objects, and pic=
tures and objects found during the workshop.

Dear friends and colleagues,

it is the high time to turn off your TV.
That repulsive signal flows into the deep sleep.
The screen shows a color table.

http://test.trashconnection.com presents a set of test patterns,
which transform the browser into the TV screen and create the condition
for maybe the first conscious meditation.

please consider my work:

From Japan to Austin, the commonality of digital visual work is the glass monitor. It is this surface that many 'traditional' media artists run from. It is this mark on the medium that my drawing style points to: the flat picture plane. Leaving my sketchy guidelines flattens the image despite the allusion to 3-D forms through such techniques as rendering/modeling and color.
My line drawings begin as ink on paper. The lines are collaged into a digital file where they are further manipulated and the images colored with a wacom tablet and photoshop. The work is figurative and narrative, dealing with fantastical scenarios as well as the mundane.
