The show focuses on artists who are considered pioneers of video art and who were also living or working out on Long Island during the time they made seminal works; these include Laurie Anderson, Lynda Benglis, Burt Barr, Jonathan Horowitz, Joan Jonas, Tony Oursler and Constance DeJong, Keith Sonnier, Andy Warhol, William Wegman and more. Co-curated by Lauren Cornell, Executive Director of Rhizome and Adjunct Curator at the New Museum, and Hanne Mugaas, Independent Curator.
