The Lamar Dodd School of Art is proud to host the highly anticipated 2012 Master of Fine Arts Exhibition. The artwork featured will showcase 19 talented graduate students, marking the conclusion of their exploration of both traditional and innovative approaches to art making at the University of Georgia. The exhibition represents the culmination of three years of in-depth investigation of contemporary issues in the arts and corresponding work in a wide range of media.

The 2012 MFA Candidates include Adam Bodine, Andrew Burkitt, Lauren Cunningham, Ernesto R. Gomez, Kathleen Hendrick, Phil Jasen, Deanna Kamal, Justin Klocke, Peter James McCarron, Ben McKee, Jessica McVey, Laura Mullen, Sydney Nettles-Coates, Kyungmin Park, Justin Plakas, Michael Vincent Prault, Robin Reif, Terence Tirpak and Grace Zuniga.

The 2012 MFA Exhibition will be open to the public March 23 – April 13 in the Lamar Dodd School of Art Galleries, located at 270 River Road in Athens, Georgia. The Galleries are open M-F, 9 am to 5 pm. An opening reception will be held from 6 pm to 9 pm on Friday, March 23.
