Rivington Design House Gallery is pleased to present Preparing for Consumption, a performance by Jody Wood exploring the dilemma of confronting the temporality of life.

Preparing for Consumption is a live performance through a multimedia installation. The performance features a funerary dinner with seven performers and audio conversations of long-term couples living in New York, speaking about their thoughts on the eventual death of their partner.

The show will create an emotional environment by combining sculptural objects, video and audio, which will be staged inside the gallery and in the public space outside.
