The launch night of Digitalis Commissions will be held at BFI Southbank on the 14 December. 
The event will see the premiere of four new films produced by artists Adam Butcher, Lizzie Hughes, James Lowne and Matilda Tristram for the Digitalis Commissions. 
The night will also include screenings of a selection of films from the Animate OPEN: Digitalis along with a panel led by Gary Thomas, Director of Animate Projects and accompanied by several industry experts and Digitalis artists.
Digitalis is a strand of activities for 2011 that focus on the potential of the digital space as a site for artistic production. Digitalis is supported by the National Lottery through Arts Council England and Jerwood Charitable Foundation.
