Case Open: Talk, Ways of Looking Photography Festival

Case Open: The exhibition selected from a national open call by a team of curators of international standing. Don't miss this talk on the artists' stimulating and surprising responses to the theme of Evidence.

Photography Lecturer Jo Booth speaks about the artwork on display in Pop Up art space. Jo will place the work in the context of the Ways of Looking festival and some of the seven prize-winning artists (Rob Ball, Mike Downing, Craig Ames, Anthony Carr, Julian Claxton, Rosie Pedlow and Joe King) will offer their personal responses to the theme and festival as a whole.

The talk will take place at Pop Up art space on Thursday 20th October, 7pm-9pm. This talk is FREE and booking is not required.

This event is part of Ways of Looking, a new festival of photography in Bradford from 1 to 30 October 2011. Exploring the theme EVIDENCE, the festival presents new exhibitions and commissions, photography in public spaces, collaborations with Bradford residents, a specially published book, and an inspiring programme of events.
