La Razón de las Ofelias by L’Explose | Danza Contemporánea (Colombia) was born from the experience that director Tino Fernández had with his mother’s schizophrenia — the painful manifestations of this illness. The work shows the distance between an afflicted person and reality, the sudden mood changes, the limited ability to express affection or feelings, and inability to string together logical thoughts.
