Typos are ok but had to copy this post and blow it up so I could
actually read it. :)
actually did and then got to this part and had to laugh.
but here I'll have to say, cause this is a BIG DEAL to me personally,
WHAT IS THIS EXCUSE SHIT?! Are wicked typos from some evil planet
actually keeping anybody's happiness from them? We make our typos
but moreover our typos ARE reflections of us. They change like
everything else we create. It's a totally round-about, uphill detour
to try to eliminate them when we can improve the source material so
we make BETTER typos in the first place.
We can either feel short changed, use our excuses (physical, mental,
psychological, societal, whatever) for doing less than what we label
"correct"
or
we can make the most of them.
If you want to make less typos, figure out how YOU can do that. But
if we approach what we think of as our "shortcomings" as just that,
we miss out. We can also just as well re-read stuff and find the
clever puns, Freudian slips, etc that say so much more than we ever
possibly could consciously/intentionally. Maybe the "mess-ups" are
actually better sometimes. You may even start looking forward to the
slips. See if you got any good ones.
So be blind with a malfunctioning head but do it like nobody's
business. You can consider yourself lucky to actually receive, as
your gift, these obstacles. Obstacles give us the traction to get
anywhere. Actually, I don't doubt you already do this in other
things. But, gee whiz, make those typos with a VENGINCE.
