THE SCHOOL OF SOUND presents its 9th International Symposium this April at London's Southbank Centre - four days of immersion in the creative thinking of practitioners, artists and theorists working at the highest levels of the arts and media. And it is all about sound.
The SOS approach relies on understanding traditional thinking, contemporary techniques and the broad range of creativity that informs sound production in both entertainment and art. And fundamental to the presentations and discussions is the relationship between sound and image - on screen, through performance or in space.
