Art in General’s Annual Saturday Night Party young patron benefit is an evening of exciting artist performances, drinks, and dancing in support of the organization’s exhibitions and programs.
This year’s event is November 20th and will feature The New Sound Karaoke, with performances by husband & wife duo, Black Waterfall & Bobby Service (played by artists Lynne Chan and Bobby Abate) who present their complicated and intimate lives through the art of karaoke. The dynamic characters perform re-conceived and rewritten mashups of popular songs to tell their story alongside music videos re-created by the artists. For the characters’ performance at Art in General’s benefit party, the artists’ set will feature a new video premiere animated by Kinho Karsyn, along with performances from guest vocalists Ben Coonley, June Fagley, Khaela Maricich, Michael O’Neill, and Jeanine Oleson.
