Recession Art is hosting a Young Curator Panel on Sunday, November 14, from 4 to 6 pm at the Invisible Dog Art Center in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn. The event is in conjunction with the exhibit What is the Where?, which explores the idea of art as a location.

The discussion with young independent curators working in New York will be moderated by Monica Westin, a Chicago art critic. The panelists are Risa Shoup (Independent Curator, Guest Curator of What is the Where?, and Residency Manager of the BRIC House Fireworks Residency Program), Simmy Swinder (Founder/Curator at TS+ Projects), Ryan Frank (co-founder of Ad Nauseam Lyceum), and Gianna Leo Falcon (Photographer, Poet, and Art Curator).
