MATA celebrates thirteen years as the leading global catalyst for emerging composers with an extraordinary concert event honoring ASCAP Vice-President Frances Richard and Yale Oral History of American Music (OHAM) founder Vivian Perlis. Special guest performers include composer/pianist Gabriel Kahane, deemed "sophisticated and original" by the New York Times, the young virtuosi of the JACK Quartet, famous for their "viscerally exciting performances" (New York Times), and composer/singer-songwriter Corey Dargel, who will join forces with New York contemporary music masters Kathleen Supové (piano) and Courtney Orlando (violin).
